Mitch Kernus
Mitch Kernus is an artist of deep conviction and talent. A classically trained pianist starting at the age of 5 years old, Mitch’s range has developed and evolved from classical, rock jazz, and back to his roots of rock. A prolific songwriter with a catalogue of over fifty original compositions, Mitch has worked with some of the titan’s in the music business.
After several years as a keyboard/vocalist for many different bands in his hometown of Washington, DC. Mitch decided that it was time to spread his wings and develop his material. The response has been overwhelming. Many industry heavyweights have worked with and helped Mitch to develop his talents, including George Daly (Cars, Boz Scaggs, SONY Records, Atlantic Records) Toby Scott (Bruce Springsteen, Columbia Records) Patrick Moraz (Moody Blues) Mit (Eurhythmics), just to mention a few.
Mitch is in ongoing negotiations for film and t.v. placements and has several songs appearing in the upcoming Cuba Gooding Jr., thriller "The Way of War" produced and directed by John Carter/Capital City Entertainment. Mitch will also appear in Capital City's upcoming feature "22" in both acting and musical role.
